I hand dyed 5 skeins of 8/4 cotton yarn, 3 of the skeins dyed with one colorway and the other 2 with a different. I will draft dye details in a future entry.

Each skein are 32 ends each, for a total 160 ends. I decided to use my 12 dent reed, and will sley at 16 epi, with 2 floating selvages. 1-1-2….and considering a looser ppi than plain weave.

I will be using a “thin” (not sure the size) mercerized pearl colored cotton weft, creating two warp faced scarves.
