Two works in progress

These paintings will inevitably change in composition and color, but the deep feelings and emotions invoked from wonderful childhood memories are already reflected in these two paintings through mark making and movement. It has blossomed new creative ideas that I want to put forth here in the next few months before leaving for France. It’s fun to experiment with these underpaintings- it truly helps me gain a sense of the past through being present.
