On location inspiration. These long winter days in Flagstaff are cold, windy with a silver sky. Drive 40 miles south and you are in a different world: warm, blue skies and an abundance of color.

Oh yeah, those are small seed pods stuck to the paint on the bottom, they have been removed, promise!

My paintings can have thick paint and can take a while to cure completely. I will ship oil paintings when it is dry to the touch so be careful when handling your new painting. The thick passages may still be a bit soft. Do not worry...with a few weeks cure time the paint will stiffen and aroma of natural walnut oil will fade completely.
